Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Comes Up Short

Aberdeen lost against Black Hills back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aberdeen Bobcats lost 76-50 to the Black Hills Wolves. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Aberdeen lost, don't look at Tarren Lewis. Despite the final result, he posted 27 points and six boards. Those 27 points gave Lewis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaac Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Aberdeen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Black Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Aberdeen won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hoquiam at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Aberdeen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season. Black Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
