Baseball Recap: Junction Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Johnson City, Junction was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Center Point Pirates 11-5. Considering the Eagles have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Junction's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-2. As for Center Point, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Junction will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harper at 6:30 p.m. on March 28th. Center Point also won't see the field for a while: their next contest is against Goldthwaite at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st.
