Recap: Gleason Bulldogs vs. Big Sandy Red Devils
The Gleason Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Big Sandy 88-57 at home. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Big Sandy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Seth Green, who scored 15 points. The match was Green's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Cagle, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Gleason pushed their record up to 9-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Big Sandy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Gleason won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Greenfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Greenfield is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Big Sandy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McEwen at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th.
