Turner put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Naaman Forest Rangers an 8-0 shutout. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

The team relied heavily on Melissa Soto, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hailey Serrano, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Turner always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .737. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .538 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Turner pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 runs over those games. As for Naaman Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
