Forsyth Country Day had won ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it 11. They put the hurt on the Victory Christian Center Kings with a sharp 95-72 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Furies also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2016.

Forsyth Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayon Connor led the charge by dropping a double-double with 25 points and 16 boards. Tyrin Graham was another key player, putting up 22 points.

As for Victory Christian Center, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. On the bright side, the 72- point performance marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

Victory Christian Center's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was McKennon Showers, who posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshawn Coulter, who scored 14 points.

Forsyth Country Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 105-83 victory against Caldwell Academy on the 13th. As for Victory Christian Center, they have also already played their next game, a 69-52 defeat against Christ School on the 14th.
