Volleyball Recap: Virtus Academy Takes a Loss

The Virtus Academy Wolves came up short against the Williamsburg Academy Stallions on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Virtus Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Virtus Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Williamsburg Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Virtus Academy will take on Trinity Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Williamsburg Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pee Dee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
