Basketball Recap: Waukesha South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waukesha North last Friday, Waukesha South came back down to earth. The Waukesha South Blackshirts fell to the Catholic Memorial Crusaders 74-69. The Blackshirts have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Waukesha South now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Catholic Memorial, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Waukesha South will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Mukwonago at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mukwonago knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Waukesha South likes a good challenge. Catholic Memorial has already played their next match, a 75-68 defeat against Marquette University on the 14th.
