Basketball Recap: Kinnelon Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Kinnelon Colts lost to the Cedar Grove Panthers on the road by a 63-48 margin. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Panthers are ranked 134th).

Kinnelon has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. The win (which was Cedar Grove's 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Kinnelon will square off against Pequannock on Wednesday. Cedar Grove has already played their next match (against Weequahic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
