After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plymouth Christian Academy, Roeper was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Oakland Christian Lancers. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Roeper were the better team in the second half.

Roeper has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Oakland Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roeper is set to square off against their familiar foe Lutheran Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Oakland Christian will take on rival Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
