Volleyball Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Westminster challenged Lovett on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Toni Odujebe paced Westminster's offense, picking up nine kills. Odujebe got some help from Munday Tyrone and her 11 assists.

Leading Lovett to victory were Margaux Godfrey and Kate Kennedy. Godfrey had 13 digs and three aces, while Kennedy had ten assists and six digs. That's the most digs Godfrey has posted since back in October of 2024.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Lovett, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coincidentally, Westminster and Lovett will both be playing Midtown the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
