Baseball Recap: Regis Has No Trouble Against Salesian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Iona Prep, Regis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Salesian Eagles 13-4. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Raiders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Peter Taibi looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Aidan Cha was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Evan Rosado, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

The win got Regis back to even at 6-6. As for Salesian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
