Basketball Game Preview: Western Brown Broncos vs. Batavia Bulldogs

The Western Brown Broncos are taking a road trip to square off against the Batavia Bulldogs at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Western Brown was fully in charge, breezing past Clinton-Massie 61-30. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-15.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Batavia and Clinton-Massie had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs really took it to the Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-35 victory. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 59-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons had no chance of recovering from.

Batavia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Western Brown, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Western Brown couldn't quite get it done against Batavia in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 63-53. Can the Broncos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
