Softball Recap: Oshkosh North Takes a Loss

Oshkosh North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Kimberly Papermakers, falling 13-2. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 6-3 to the Papermakers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Olivia Borowitz was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Oshkosh North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kimberly, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oshkosh North is set to face off against their familiar foe Oshkosh West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kimberly will square off against rival Appleton West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
