Softball Recap: South Central Comes Up Short

South Central fell victim to Perry Central and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Commodores, falling 18-0. The Rebels' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

South Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Roy, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Roy hit this season.

South Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Perry Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Central will welcome Lanesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perry Central, they will be playing at home against Orleans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
