Soccer Recap: Columbia City Takes a Loss

Columbia City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norwell Knights. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Columbia City couldn't quite close it out.

Columbia City now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Norwell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbia City will square off against rival Huntington North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Norwell is set to take on their familiar foe Bellmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
