There's no place like home for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Dawson School Mustangs on Friday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Rocky Mountain Lutheran might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Dawson School scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18.

Izzy Curtis paced Rocky Mountain Lutheran's offense, picking up 14 kills. Curtis got some help from Alyiah Trujillo and her 19 assists. Trujillo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jadyn Morgan, racking up five apiece.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Dawson School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coming up, Rocky Mountain Lutheran will face off against Victory Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dawson School, they will take on Estes Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
