Softball Game Preview: Paris Wildcats vs. Pleasant Grove Hawks

Paris is 1-9 against Pleasant Grove since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Paris has given up an average of 19.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Paris is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 34th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Pittsburg, falling 22-0.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Sulphur Springs on Friday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Pleasant Grove's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Paris, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Paris might still be hurting after the 20-0 loss they got from Pleasant Grove in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
