Basketball Recap: Yazoo County Piles Up the Points Against Enterprise

The Yazoo County Panthers humbled the Enterprise Yellowjackets with a 70-38 victory. The game marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Anthony Hudson had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 60% from the field on his way to 16 points. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ladon Watts, who posted nine points.

Yazoo County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Yazoo County's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Enterprise, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Yazoo County will host Tri-County Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Enterprise, they and Gautier will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
