Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Polk Rams vs. Johnston Dragons

The Southeast Polk Rams will face off against the Johnston Dragons at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Southeast Polk lost 63-42 to Valley on Tuesday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Johnston faced Waukee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Johnston fell just short of Waukee by a score of 58-56. The Dragons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Southeast Polk, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
