Baseball Recap: Millburn Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millburn can now relate to. They came up short against the South Plainfield Tigers on Tuesday, falling 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Millers have suffered since April 14th.

Millburn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keigo Fujita, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Millburn's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for South Plainfield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-9.

Millburn will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Essex at 4:00 p.m. on December 23, 2027. South Plainfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
