Basketball Recap: Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Takes a Loss

Wyndmere/Lidgerwood lost against Hankinson back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds lost 78-57 to the Hankinson Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Warbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Pirates are ranked 29th).

Wyndmere/Lidgerwood has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Hankinson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Wyndmere/Lidgerwood will take on Sargent County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hankinson has already played their next matchup (against Wyndmere), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
