Softball Recap: Westview Warriors vs. South Bend Adams Eagles

Westview had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Bend Adams Eagles, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since April 16, 2024.

Westview let Briana Kaufman and Karlie Schrock run wild. Kaufman scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Schrock scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
