Basketball Recap: OnPoint Hoops Takes a Loss

OnPoint Hoops lost to Life Prep back in November of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 77-40 loss at the hands of the Fire. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Quinton Rolle, Jr had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds for Life Prep. Those 12 boards gave Rolle, Jr a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Laterro Young, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 15 points.

OnPoint Hoops' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Life Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4.

OnPoint Hoops will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunrise Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Life Prep, they have already played their next game, a 68-60 defeat against Terra Verde Discovery on the 17th.
