Prairie came out on top against Peetz on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since April 8, 2025.

Riar Holloway was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Dollerschell, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Prairie kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Prairie now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Peetz, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Prairie will take on Holyoke at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Peetz, they will welcome Briggsdale at 1:00 p.m. on the 16th.
