Soccer Recap: Mohave Comes Up Short

The matchup between Mohave and Prescott on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Mohave Thunderbirds came up short against the Prescott Badgers, falling 8-0. Considering the last time the Thunderbirds couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Mohave now has a losing record at 4-5-2. As for Prescott, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1.

Mohave has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Bradshaw Mountain on the 21st. As for Prescott, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Cactus Shadows on the 20th.
