Football Recap: Florence Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Florence lost against Muscle Shoals back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons took a blow against the Trojans, falling 34-7. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

Jimmy McDonald threw for 55 yards and one TD. Carter Graves was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Muscle Shoals, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Florence and Muscle Shoals will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Falcons will challenge rival Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. Meanwhile, Muscle Shoals is set to take on their familiar foe Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
