Soccer Game Preview: Damien vs. 'Iolani

Damien is 0-10 against 'Iolani since January of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Monarchs will face off against the Raiders at 4:15 p.m.

Monday just wasn't the day for Damien's offense. They lost 4-0 to St. Louis on Monday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask 'Iolani). They never let Le Jardin get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Monday. 'Iolani haven't had any issues with Le Jardin recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

'Iolani's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Damien, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Damien might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from 'Iolani in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Monarchs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
