Academy of Excellence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Academy of Excellence's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wisconsin School for the Deaf, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Academy of Excellence will welcome Maranatha Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Wisconsin School for the Deaf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-34 defeat against New Mexico School for the Deaf on the 6th.
