Volleyball Recap: Poynette Comes Up Short

Poynette was the 2-0 winner over Montello when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pumas took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers on Saturday. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Poynette's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Montello, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Coincidentally, Poynette and Montello will both be playing New Lisbon the next time they take the court. The Hilltoppers will head out to face the Rockets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pumas will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
