Basketball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

Century has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dulaney Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since February 22, 2024.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Dulaney, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Looking ahead, Century will host Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dulaney, they will head out on the road to take on Parkville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Dulaney's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.
