Basketball Recap: Carrizozo Takes a Loss

Carrizozo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 52-41 to the Hondo Valley Eagles. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 56-53.

Carrizozo's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hondo Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15.

Carrizozo has already played their next contest, a 75-23 defeat against Mountainair on the 19th. As for Hondo Valley, they will square off against Corona/Vaughn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
