Softball Recap: Northeastern Clinton's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Northeastern Clinton unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 14-10 to the Plattsburgh Hornets. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 13-10.

Northeastern Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Plattsburgh, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Northeastern Clinton is set to face off against their familiar foe Northern Adirondack at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plattsburgh will take on rival Saranac Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
