It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eagleton College & Career Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 17-6 win over the Grundy County Yellowjackets. The victory was familiar territory for the Royals, who have now won three contests in a row.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Grundy County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Eagleton College & Career Academy will head out on the road to challenge Bledsoe County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so the Royals' offense will have their work cut out for them. Grundy County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
