Basketball Recap: Northpoint Christian Falls Short of the Webb School in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northpoint Christian can now relate to. They were outmatched by The Webb School Feet and fell 66-23. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The Webb School had a senior duo take command as Daria Biriuk went 8-for-15 to rack up 23 points and six boards and Sophie Mcinturff made all 8 shots she took racking up 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcinturff has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Makynli Bacon, who posted eight points along with three steals and three blocks.

Northpoint Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for The Webb School, they pushed their record up to 26-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Northpoint Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Webb School, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against University School of Jackson at 3:30 p.m. University School of Jackson will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something The Webb School surely won't give up without a fight.
