Holy Cross came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Naugatuck Greyhounds. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Holy Cross took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Megan McKenney, who had ten digs.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Naugatuck, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

As of now, neither Holy Cross nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
