Volleyball Recap: Madrid Takes a Loss

Madrid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Roadrunners from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Madrid's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Interstate 35, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-9.

Madrid didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Central Decatur on the 2nd. As for Interstate 35, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasantville on Monday.
