Volleyball Game Preview: Zion-Benton Zee-Bees vs. Central Rockets

Zion-Benton hasn't had much luck against Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Zee-Bees will challenge the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Zion-Benton came up short against Stevenson and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Central didn't have quite enough to beat Huntley on Thursday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Central sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-16.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Zion-Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Zion-Benton couldn't quite get it done against Central in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Zee-Bees avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
