Soccer Game Preview: Baylor vs. Westminster

The Baylor Red Raiders will challenge the Westminster Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Baylor is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Baylor's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Oak Ridge. Baylor's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Meanwhile, Westminster fell victim to Johnson and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Westminster can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Johnson are ranked tenth).

Westminster has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Baylor, their win bumped their record up to 9-1-1.
