Volleyball Recap: Lone Star's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lone Star waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Burlington Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Jade Kuntz paced Lone Star's offense, picking up nine kills. Kuntz got some help from Grace Cochran and her 20 assists. Paityn Forry controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lone Star's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Burlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Lone Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Stratton on the 11th. As for Burlington, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cheraw on the 11th.
