Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ashford). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Geneva Panthers 44-7 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Ashford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Bigham, who rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Bigham a new career-high in rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Coy Paramore, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

He was just one part of a punishing run game: Ashford was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
