Softball Recap: Saucon Valley Comes Up Short

Saucon Valley lost against Southern Lehigh back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Gall made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Saucon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Southern Lehigh, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Saucon Valley and Southern Lehigh will both be playing Catasauqua the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Rough Riders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
