Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. Gallatin

The Franklin Admirals will challenge the Gallatin Green Wave at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

Franklin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Summit 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Franklin were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Gallatin faced Hendersonville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Green Wave took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Commandos. Gallatin haven't had much luck with Hendersonville recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-3. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 18-1-1.

Franklin took their victory against Gallatin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Admirals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Wave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
