Baseball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kenosha Tremper and Indian Trail meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Trojans took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Kenosha Tremper's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Indian Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Kenosha Tremper and Indian Trail should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Trojans will square off against Racine Horlick at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (61 vs. 242). Meanwhile, Indian Trail (ranked 89th) will meet Racine Case (ranked 221st) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
