Basketball Recap: Colome Comes Up Short

Colome and Kimball/White Lake squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Colome had to settle for second. They were dealt a 44-7 defeat at the hands of the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats. The Cowboys just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Colome's loss came despite strong showings from Raelynn Kingsley and Emme Nelsen. Kingsley dropped a double-double with 11 boards and 15 blocks, while Nelsen posted no points and three blocks. Kingsley is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Colome's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Kimball/White Lake, they moved to 7-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Colome does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimball/White Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-23 loss against Lyman on the 25th.
