Football Recap: Lame Deer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lame Deer extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They took a blow against the Twin Bridges Falcons, falling 66-0. The Morning Stars lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 54-20 score last time.

As for Twin Bridges, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 50.5 points this season.

Twin Bridges' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brandt Nelson led the charge by rushing for 32 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 49 yards and a pair of TDs. Another rusher making a difference was Jay Mullaney, who rushed for 69 yards and one score.

Lame Deer has already played their next contest (against Sheridan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Twin Bridges, they have also already played their next matchup, a 58-42 defeat against Lone Peak on the 19th.
