Woodruff has gone a perfect 10-0 against Union County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellowjackets at 7:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Union County is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight matches on Tuesday. They came up short against Greer Middle College, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Union County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Greer Middle College are ranked 61st).

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Woodruff, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
