Softball Preview: Mapleton Mounties vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs
The Mapleton Mounties will challenge the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Mapleton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Plymouth with a sharp 17-1 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Mounties in their matchups with the Big Red: they've now won six in a row.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Olmsted Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Strongsville on Thursday by a score of 6-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
