Trinity Catholic won the last time they faced South Sumter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trinity Catholic Celtics came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Sumter Raiders, sneaking past 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Celtics.

South Sumter's batters probably weren't too happy with Caylee Barbe, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (she gave up three walks). Barbe has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kristina Fogelman was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Kinley Forsyth also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Trinity Catholic's record now sits at 7-5. As for South Sumter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Trinity Catholic will take on Bishop Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Bishop Moore's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Sumter, they will challenge Vanguard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Sumter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
