Volleyball Recap: Harrison Central Falls to St. Clairsville in First Game of Season

Harrison Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the St. Clairsville Red Devils on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-13.

Abigail McCulley was nothing short of spectacular for St. Clairsville: she had 13 digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Addison Cooey, who had eight digs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison Central is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Buckeye Local at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Clairsville, they will square off against Edison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
