            Volleyball Recap: Boone Braves vs. Poinciana Christian Preparatory Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Poinciana Christian Preparatory Eagles.
 Boone was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19,  25-22.
 Jeremiah Greenwood paced Boone's offense, picking up 14 kills. Greenwood got some help from  Ian Vega and his 12 assists. Vega also made an impact serving:  he shared the team lead in aces with  Jackson Ayoung-Chee, racking up two apiece.
Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Poinciana Christian Preparatory, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season.
 Boone will face off against Colonial at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Poinciana Christian Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
